Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Working with systems, building reporting structures, creating automated data flows, working across multiple departments to facilitate accurate data entry.
2. Lead forecasting and analytics activities and bring key data-driven business insights to leaders within the commercial organization in a proactive manner.
3. Building monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts for production, feed, costs.
4. Directs the collection and analysis of relevant information concerning business and channel performance and provides insights and recommendations for improving performance.
5. Investigates analysis and forecasting techniques, new trends, and seeks ways to utilize data and analysis to support Company initiatives.
6. Work cross-functionally with Data management and leadership to ensure information and insights are being cascaded throughout the commercial organizations and supporting functions.
7. Collaborate with global brand teams, regions and markets as well as new product planning and business development to define and assess opportunities, threats and evaluate assets of interest.
8. Maintains regional forecast and budget inputs for marketing and sales channels. Coordinates with division to develop, revise and track budget and performance. Examines ways to improve processes and enhance accuracy.
9. Collaborate with commercial, marketing and finance leadership to define and quantify the impact of commercial market opportunities.
10. Create objective patient/volume/revenue outlook and work with business units to create accurate forecasts (budget and long-range strategic planning).
11. Liaison with Analytics vendors as needed.
12. Contribute to monthly patient reporting, analytics, and forecasting reviews for operations and commercial leadership; provide monthly updates to the business unit and leadership - outlook vs. forecast (integrating performance, analytics)
13. Consolidate and summarizes data for ad hoc analysis (e.g. ROI analysis)

Qualifications:
1 Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in computer science or related field.
2 Work experience, 2-5 years in a systems role, dealing with analytics, data, and planning.
3 Experience with data analysis and data visualization tools with data from EMR/EHR, Claims data, Sales Data, and Rx Data (e.g., IMS, Symphony, etc.).
4 Proven track record developing and supporting effective business systems.
5 Strong proven leadership, analytical and communication skills, ability to collaborate cross functionally with all stakeholders in an entrepreneurial team
6 Proven analytical skills. Thorough knowledge of and possess high skill level in advanced analytics and patient-based forecast modeling
7 Expertise with statistical software, databases and MS Office programs (e.g. advanced Excel skills to include pivot tables, filtering, vlookup and macros)
8 Experience with quantitative techniques including smoothing, regression, and simulations.
9 High ethical standards, including demonstrated adherence to all corporate, Compliance, and Regulatory guidelines and procedures
10 Ability to interact and communicate with all levels in the organization.

REQUIREMENTS

About the Team

About This Role
The Harvest department is one of the newest teams at Komaza and is expected to grow dramatically over the new few years - hiring dozens of staff, investing in mechanization, adding new teams in Kwale county, and providing some support to our pilot in central Kenya. In this role you will build, lead and grow our harvest planning and operations. You’ll work closely with company leadership to develop and refine the strategic vision for the Harvest department for the next 3-5 years and prioritize activities to achieve this vision. What You Will Do
- Harvest OMS: Build the harvest operations management system (OMS) which will allow the harvest operations coordinators to manage dozens of staff and thousands of farms remotely.
- Team: Build the team needed to design our harvest systems and execute them at scale.
- Harvest Systems: Build efficient, effective systems to ensure all farms are thinned/clearfelled/coppice clearfelled at the right time and at the right $/CBM.
- Harvest Data: Work with our technology and growth modeling teams to collect, validate, store, analyze and report the huge volumes of data needed to managed thousands of wood lots across Kilifi and Kwale counties.
- Harvest Innovation: After building the basic systems above, take the lead on designing step-change improvements or modifications to our harvest systems.
- Harvest Execution: Manage, inspire, coach, and problem-solve with the team to hit forest management, CBM, and cost per CBM targets.

T3 is a local Kenyan business currently in the final stages of launching a recycling and manufacturing operation in Athi River (Nairobi) where we will be recycling post-consumer PET into textile fiber while at the same time striving for environmental, social and financial sustainability. The operations are to take a high degree of consideration of empowering women, youth, and marginalized individuals. T3 CFO Role Description:
The ideal candidate for the CFO position will have considerable experience in manufacturing and/or processing operations at a senior financial management level, a high degree of entrepreneurial drive coupled with a can-do attitude manifested by commercial mindset, strong numeracy and problem-solving skills underpinned by business ethics and values aligned to those of the T3 project. Purpose:

Duties:

PROJECT OFFICER ONLINE CHILD SEXUAL EXPLOITATION (OCSE) KENYA

Terre des Hommes Netherlands is looking for a full time project officer for its ‘Safe online - prevention of online child sexual exploitation’ project, to be based in Nairobi, Kenya with frequent travel within the country. This is a national position, open to applicants who can prove the right to live and work in Kenya. Initial contract period will be for one year.

Background
Terre des Hommes Netherlands (TdH-NL) is an international NGO committed to stopping child exploitation. In East Africa, Terre des Hommes Netherlands works in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Ethiopia. We support child victims of exploitation with education, psychosocial support, legal assistance, shelter, job opportunities and medical care; while at the same time targeting highly vulnerable children, who are at risk of being exploited, in our prevention activities. We launch public and media campaigns to create awareness on our focus issues and carry out local research into the extent and nature of abuse and exploitation of children.

TdH-NL in East Africa works within four child protection themes: the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC), the Worst Forms of Child Labour (WFCL), Child Trafficking and Unsafe Migration (CTM), and Child Abuse (CA) specifically focusing on Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights. Through collaboration with local civil society organisations (CSOs), TdH-NL implements development, humanitarian/relief and advocacy interventions in various parts of Kenya, supported by own TdH-NL funding and from various foundations.

Objective of the position

1. Support implementation of the Safe Online Project in Kenya
- Liaise with the consortium members to ensure timely, efficient and effective implementation of the project.
- Undertake planning, implementation and reporting of project activities in close collaboration and consultation with the consortium partners in the project.
- Undertake field monitoring visits in collaboration with the consortium members to the project sites.
- Lead project review meetings and documentation of lessons learnt, challenges and new thinking in the project implementation.
- Maintain contacts with government agencies, the private sector and other key stakeholders involved in online protection of children and act as link between these actors and the Safe Online Project.
- Represent TdH - NL in technical networks and meetings that are relevant to the Safe Online Project.
- Ensure efficient use of project resources and fulfillment of the programme and finance commitments as per the partner contracts.
- Monitor the context of online protection and technological advancements as well as the child protection discourse in Kenya (specific focus on project sites) and provide feedback to the project implementation team and advice to the Country Manager (CM) and others as appropriate for decision making.

2. Programme results for the partner and programme portfolio
- Support and monitor the project partner through regular communications and programme visits. Liaise with the Finance and Administration Officer regarding budgets and expenditure.
- Ensure that all scheduled partner and project reports such as progress and financial reports are delivered timely and that they are of good quality, according to Terre des Hommes Netherlands’ standards, analyse the received information and compile the necessary reports for the CM.
- Support the Senior Communication Officer at the Regional Office with information and materials for marketing and communication, e.g. news items (case stories) and photos.
- Inform relevant persons/organisations/institutions on support given to project partners, project activities and expected results. Maintain the database and regularly update project documentation/ files for reference by all concerned.

3. Capacity building of partners
- Apply Terre des Hommes Netherlands’ tools in organisational assessment, M&E and capacity building.
- Identify together with project partner areas for further improvement on management and/or programme quality of project partner and define frameworks, procedures and indicators oriented towards improved organisational and project management.
- Guide project partners and give direction so that they improve on quality of work, efficiency, effectiveness of the desired outputs and sustainability of results.
- Safeguard project quality by maintaining an overview of supported projects and evaluating the quality of work and results. Ensure that project partners follow the terms and conditions of the signed partner contract; facilitate them to keep track of key factors in project management, implementation and monitoring of results.

Knowledge and experience
- University degree in a relevant field, such as development cooperation, child rights, etc.
- Minimum of three years of experience working in the development sector.
- Proven experience of working with local partners, engagement with government and private sector.
- Experience of writing, reviewing and analysing programmes and reports.
- Experience with Child Rights based programming is an advantage.
- Proven experience in capacity building of civil society organisations.
- Knowledge of and experience in project cycle management, including the use of logical framework, theory of change and other planning tools.
- Understanding of project financial management.
- Knowledge of the political, religious and social structures of the project sites.
- Excellent writing and communication skills in English and Swahili.

This position will be based in Nairobi with frequent travel to the project sites.

MAIN GOAL :
The Finance Officer is responsible for all financial topics of HM Clause Kenya. Ideal candidate will oversee the implementation and follow the proper application internal controls as well as having primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the Kenya Subsidiary, ensuring compliance and consistency of accounting policies and practices with all local requirements.

The position reports to the HMCK Finance Officer and has a functional direct link with the Finance Manager, based in France.

Roles & Responsibilities

Finance tasks:
• Responsibility for financial administration
• Control on margin and expenses
• Control on stock, receivables and cash flow
• Cash management (including banking relationships)
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
• Execution of the annual year-end close (including auditors)
• Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
• Management of payroll and tax
• Implementation and follow-up of proper application of all HMCK procedures
• Record keeping: organization and maintenance of paper & electronic files
• Other analysis and reports as may be required by the company

Administration tasks:
• Management of formal company matters and procedures as required by law
• Management of all legal documents in coordination with the internal and external legal support
