The Lake Turkana Wind Power of Marsabit County, Kenya is the largest wind farm in Western Africa with an installed capacity of 310MW using 365 V52 wind turbines, connected to the Kenyan national grid through an associated Transmission Line providing 17% of the country’s installed capacity providing reliable, low-cost energy to Kenya under a 20-year PPA. The wind farm is a single largest investment of over 625 million Euros in renewable energy, with shareholders from the UK, Africa and thirteen lenders from EU. Current responsibilities include building the new organization to transit construction into the operational mode and instilling the new culture of performance excellence and business orientation, through capacity building, leadership and implementing the Company’s core values
