1.Unit Profitability: P&L, Budget, Production Commitments – Volume &Contribution Margin .
2.overall management of the Business Unit on all aspects of operations, production, engineering, quality, maintenance driving unit profitability.
3.Process Efficiencies: Efficiency in Operations, Asset Maintenance, Reduce scrap to increase profits, Optimal utilization of all assets / machines, Reduction in quality cost
Adherence to Compliance: Compliance to safety and statutory norms •
4.Participate with Business Heads in business planning and budgeting for the unit – in terms of volumes, EBITDA, CAPEX projects, expansion plans, manpower projections, new process initiatives.
5.. Coordinate with maintenance departments for resolution of any technical problem such as stoppage of machinery/ equipment’s, leakage, breakdown – address escalations and take corrective actions
6.Oversee quality inspection of all incoming raw materials, in-process product and finished product with regards to defined parameters
7. Responsible for all Food safety /GMP Audits success.
8.Highlight and take corrective actions incase of stock accumulation, discrepancies and abnormal consumption – discuss with procurement and stores team
9.Review New vendor selection and evaluation process for the unit – based on requirement Coordinate with central planning team / unit planners to ensure appropriate allocation of job machine wise, based on delivery schedules
10.Study and identify projects for up gradation/ modification at the unit and prepare project reports accordingly
