Hennie S.

Summary

I have experience working in different types of organisations in different parts of Africa with different equipment and systems which has forced me to be dynamic in the way that I work. I believe I am a strong team player who works well with others.

I have strong leadership skills that I have worked hard on and I have seen that in effect especially in my last position where I lead a team of 100 to build a strong, effective and efficient workshop. I have worked in positions where it has been necessary to collaborate with different departments such as finance, admin, HR, HSE, community liaison and I found that I have provided cohesive links and technical support.

One of my successes has been creating checklists and charts to prioritise my work and allow for maximum efficiency. Over the years I have been able to delegate tasks to staff who have proved themselves capable. I believe in constant training and have found that daily tool-box talks have helped keep up staff’s knowledge and work ethic along with providing a positive working environment.

I have been responsible for budget development and adherence to departmental/company budgets. I have operated within my budgets in the past and know that can continue to do so.
