Our client, selling and trading agricultural commodities, is looking to manage their Country Office in Sudan.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- The General Manager oversees all staff, budgets and operations
- Review and improve organizational effectiveness by establishing a motivated work environment
- Executing of the strategy and the procedures defined with the management and headquarters
- Design the strategy and set goals for growth with headquarters
- Ensure the respect of the procedures
- Ensure compliance with the Sudanese legislation and health and safety regulations
- Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
- Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role
- Knowledge of business process and functions
- Ability to motivate and lead people
- Strong decision-making capabilities
- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic
