For their office in Johannesburg, South Africa, the company is looking for a:
Regional Director

Role Profile
After the first successful experiences, the company opened a first regional office in South-Africa, Johannesburg, after which the opening of its own production plant in 2012 took place. The company’s plant, has become a key point production facility for the South-African entity as it has reached the levels required to run an efficient high-quality operation.
The role of Regional Manager Southern Africa is fundamental to the development and the execution of the growth plans and sales strategy of the company in Africa. The successful Regional Manager will take responsibility (including profit & loss) for the overall profitability of the company’s activities in Southern Africa. In addition, the Regional Manager is directing sales and market developments, monitors the quality of the goods and services, as agreed with customers (Service Level Agreements, SLA). Finally the Regional Manager is required to ensure a smooth collaboration between the departments, its preferred supplier and in-house production facility in SA.

Knowledge & skills
- Advanced degree and proven business development experience
- Proven budget management competency
- In-depth knowledge of the African market
- Excellent knowledge of the English language in word and writing
- Strong analytical skills
- Understanding of key markets in Southern-Africa: mining, fertilizers, animal feed
- Dedicated, decisive and result-driven
- Excellent organizational skills and an eye for detail
- Proven ability to effectively communicate both verbal and written to direct and persuade
- The ability to negotiate and build an extensive relationship with stakeholders, senior management and peers

- At least five years of management experience in the production industry
- Proven experience in leadership and people management
- Proven extensive experience in controlling and managing resources across the broad aspects of business to ensure achievement of operational plans and profitable business growth
- Proven experience in meeting sales targets and expanding client portfolio’s
- Experience in budget responsibility
- Experience in a production environment is definitely a benefit, ideally with the focus on operation and sales/logistics.
