Job Description

We currently have a Global HR team of five people, based in the USA, Guatemala, Indonesia, Poland and the Czech Republic. We are now looking for one last missing part of our team - an HR Specialist to join our growing HR family. Even though we are very different – from different cultures and regions – and have different working styles and strengths, we are all friends and enjoy working together.

Your main task will be to support people in Africa (five countries) on different HR topics and bring the expertise from this region to the Global HR team. A significant portion of the role will be administration, recruitment support for other regions, and close cooperation with HR colleagues worldwide.

What you will do
As an HR Specialist, you will be responsible for all regional HR activities. Your main tasks will be to:

- Support employees and managers from the region and answer their day-to-day questions and queries
- Provide HR support throughout the entire employee life cycle
- Lead the whole recruitment process in Africa and support the recruitment in other regions
- Support HR department with different administration activities - work with HRIS, expense reports, HR documents preparation and etc.
- Benefits and payroll administration
- Daily work with the Salesforce system
- Participation in different HR projects and activities
- Build up a good relationship with other departments in the company
- Work closely with local payroll contacts and LEM in countries

Who you are
- You have a bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field
- You have at least 3 years of experience in the HR field
- You have experience in the international environment (work/study/travel abroad)
- You are fluent in English. Fluency in the French language is a big advantage
- You are proficient in MS Office packages (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- You are prepared to travel as needed
- You have an excellent sense of humour
- You possess a high level of self-discipline, an ability to organise and manage yourself and your time, as well as make independent decisions
- You know the importance of confidentiality in HR
- You are a good team player and have an open attitude towards other cultures, as we collaborate across borders in our organisation
